Mangone Law Firm, LLC is an immigration law firm committed to helping the New Americans gain legal status in the U.S since 2012.

Our office is in New Jersey, but we represent immigrants all over the United States. We concentrate our efforts on helping our clients to stay safe, with their families.

We are looking for a motivated, passionate, hard-working individual to become our new Virtual Associate Attorney.

We need someone to take responsibility for:

  1. As a Review Attorney, you will be responsible for reviewing application packets for EOIR filings, family-based, consular, U-Visa, SIJS, VAWA, T-visa, and waiver petitions. You will work closely with our legal team to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service possible.
  2. Devising, finalizing, and customizing immigration strategies for possible clients.
  3. Drafting immigration and family pleadings, briefs, and motions; supervising and delegating work to paralegals and assistants.
  4. Preparing for and attending virtual and telephonic immigration and family court hearings and interviews; and supervising applications.
  5. Making sure that our legal team understands the strategy.
  6. Support our paralegals, CEO and the whole Mangone legal team in a way that is as streamlined as possible.

Job Type: Full-time. Monday- Friday, 8:30 am -5:30 pm.

Requirements

As an organization, we look for the following CORE VALUES in our team members, such as:

  • Have 5+ years attorney experience in immigration.
  • Active member of the State Bar.

In addition, you MUST be/have:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Quick learner.

  • Capacity to work independently and as a team.
  • Self-organization skills.
  • Skills and experience are required and valued, but attitude, character, personality, and integrity are also important.
  • IT Skills (Google Workspace/Suite, Excel, Slack, Monday, Immigration Case Management Systems).
  • Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests.
  • Detail-oriented attitude, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Having a passion for furthering immigrant’s rights is necessary.
  • Commitment & responsiveness towards clients, legal team and CEO.
  • Have very strong writing skills.
