Leland is located just over the bridge from downtown Wilmington, and is in close proximity to multiple beaches including Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Ocean Isle and Oak Island.
Our hospital is an AAHA certified and feline friendly practice with digital radiology, surgical and therapeutic lasers, in-house laboratory, tonometry, ultrasound, in-house rehabilitation, and 2 table modern surgical suite. Benefits include competitive salary plus % of gross production, paid vacation and personal time, CE allowance, insurance, association dues, and a retirement investment plan.
The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate a strong interest in internal medicine cases, provide care and compassion with excellent communication and time management skills; confidence with soft tissue surgery and dentistry; and the ability to serve as both a leader and team player. Experience and ability to see and treat exotic pets is preferred but not required.
