Grover Corporation is currently looking to fill the pivotal role of Senior Bookkeeper.

Grover Corporation was established in 1929 and is the leading specialty piston ring manufacturer in the US. We ship our products around the world where they are used in large engines hydraulic cylinders, transmissions, air compressors, turbo chargers, shock absorbers and many other applications.

Experienced required:

* 5+ years of experience in manufacturing in an Accounting role.

* Associates degree in Accounting, Bachelors Preferred

* Detail Oriented

Duties Include:

Finance

  • Assure financial regulatory compliance
  • Respond to customer financial requests
  • Update and maintain cost standards
  • Manage inventory


Talent and Department Management

  • Coach and mentor
  • Hold direct reports accountable
  • Lead department hires and terminations
  • Manage staffing and work assignments
  • Own department scorecard
  • Create, update, implement and document department procedures

Accounting

  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Participate in month and year end close
  • Enter SJE (Standard Journal Entries)
  • Approve credit memos (RMA)
  • Oversee Payroll
  • Oversee Inventory Cycle Count System
  • Lead by Example
  • Demonstrate active sense of purpose
  • Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable (LMA)
  • Live Core Values

Strategy and Planning

  • Compile ITR data
  • Conduct special analyses.
