Service Porter

Job Summary:
Genesis of Charlotte is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Service Porter in Matthews, North Carolina. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized service department, as well as supporting the overall operations of the dealership. This is a full-time position with competitive salary in the auto industry.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized service department, including sweeping, mopping, and removing trash
- Assist with moving vehicles in and out of service bays
- Transport customers to and from the dealership, as needed
- Assist service technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking and topping off fluids
- Keep vehicle lot and inventory areas neat and organized
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
