POSITION SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant is directly responsible to achieve Zest Family Medicine, PLLC goals and he/she is specifically responsible for the following functions and duties, but not limited to, the following:
- Practice in accordance with the state’s laws, rules and regulations. Medical Assistant shall practice as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team for all patients. As a member of this team, Medical Assistant will assist in coordinating patient care services.
- Perform patient care services as delegated by providers within scope of training.
- Keeping and maintaining (or causing to be kept and maintained) appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered by him/her under the Agreement;
- Preparing and attending to, in connection with such services, all reports, claims, correspondence necessary or appropriate in the circumstances, all of which records, reports, claims and correspondence shall be the property of the Employer;
- Performance of all things reasonably desirable and necessary to maintain and improve his/her professional skills.
- Work as a member of the practice team, cross training on appropriate job task throughout office and helping as needed.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all services and products Pride offers.
- Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings and pertinent training.
- Keep your designated treatment rooms—as well as all staff areas you might have access to—clean, uncluttered and organized.
- Properly care for and maintain equipment, including maintaining equipment and maintenance logs on equipment/procedures as required by office and state laws.
- Exude a positive attitude and personally contribute to a high-quality work environment
- Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
- Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
- Learn all aspects of Zest/Pride Family Medicine to become a knowledgeable asset to all facets of the company.
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00 - $20.00/hour.
