Job DescriptionJob DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN CRISIS OFFICE AND IN THE NON-RESIDENTIAL AREAS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides crisis office coverage.Provides crisis intervention and supportive services to clients in the absence of Counselor/AdvocatesIt provides dormitory coverage to maintain a positive campus atmosphere.Works closely with Counselor/Advocates to promote client safety, sobriety, and self-sufficiency by maintaining a positive facility atmosphere and a willingness to listen.Responds to crisis calls; provides information and referrals as needed.Conducts client intakes and exits in the absence of counselor/advocates.Compiles monthly service report to KCADV.Maintains client files in accordance with OASIS policies.Screens and routes calls.Maintains a log of calls.Performs assigned cleaning duties.Types, files, and coordinates the maintenance of case files.Enters data into the computer.Types records, narratives, OASIS procedures, correspondence, and other materials; provides clerical services as needed.Maintains building security by monitoring cameras and security system; conducts safety and security checks; greets clients and visitors; evacuates building as appropriate during emergencies.Supervises locks, keys, medication, and campus visitor entries.
