V -Tech Solutions, Inc. is looking for License Social Worker (LSW) to support our client. The Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves assessing clients' needs, developing care plans, and coordinating with community resources to provide effective support. The LSW also advocates for clients' well-being, ensures they receive appropriate care, and adheres to professional and ethical standards.

Requirements:
  • Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized care plans.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, providing ongoing support, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Counseling: Provide individual, family, and group counseling to help clients cope with and overcome challenges such as mental health issues, substance abuse, or family dynamics.
  • Resource Coordination: Connect clients with community resources, including healthcare providers, housing services, financial assistance, and other support networks.
  • Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and well-being, ensuring they have access to necessary services and support.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention during crises, helping clients navigate emergency situations effectively.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, care plans, and progress reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, social service agencies, and community organizations to provide comprehensive care.
  • Education and Outreach: Educate clients and their families about available resources, coping strategies, and treatment options. Participate in community outreach programs to raise awareness about social services.
  • Compliance: Ensure all services provided comply with state and federal regulations, as well as the ethical guidelines of the social work profession.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current and valid license as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in social work, preferably in a clinical or community setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Proficiency in case management software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.


Work Environment:

  • Work may be performed in various settings, including office environments, clients' homes, hospitals, or community centers.
  • May require evening or weekend hours depending on client needs.
