We are currently seeking an experienced Fabric Cutter for a large apparel manufacturing and distribution company located in the greater La Palma, CA area. This is a direct hire opportunity with an 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule. For immediate consideration, apply today.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing patterns and specifications
- Selecting fabrics
- Measuring and marking fabric
- Cutting fabric
- Handling cutting equipment
- Sorting and labeling cut pieces
- Performing quality control
- Maintaining records
- Collaborating with team members
- Cleaning and organizing the cutting area
Requirements
- Fabric knowledge – grain lines
- Some pattern knowledge – notches, cross cut, bias,
- Ability to lift about 40lbs or more
- English/Spanish bi-lingual
- Team player
