About the Role:

Our Client is seeking an experienced Informatica Developer to join a leading Life Insurance and Property & Casualty company This role is pivotal to the development and support of the company's ETL processes, ensuring the smooth operation and enhancement of data systems using Informatica.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary developer responsible for managing production support and creating new solutions using Informatica.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document code, conduct testing, and participate in the overall application development lifecycle.
  • Provide production support to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Informatica workflows.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing production support and development in Informatica.
  • 6+ years of ETL development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to create complex queries from scratch.
  • Familiarity with Java or .NET is a plus.
  • Experience with IDMC or Informatica Cloud is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in the financial or insurance industry is advantageous.

  • Expert-level SQL experience (6+ years).

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Develop and manage ETL processes using Informatica to support the company's data integration needs.

  • Document technical processes and participate in testing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure seamless application development.
