SUMMARY:
Do you love waxing? Does educating clients about the benefits of waxing and sharing the latest product trends energize you? Are you looking to sharpen your waxing skills or learn a new technique? If so, Waxing the City may be a good fit for you At Waxing the City our clients are the focus and our technicians are the ultimate professionals at their craft.

After a week-long, hands-on training course becoming proficient in Waxing the City's technique through our Waxing University, our service providers become certified Cerologists. At Waxing the City, our licensed service providers are not only waxing experts, theyre waxing authorities. This led us to create our very own title of Cerologist technicians, combining cera (Latin for wax) with ologist (to highlight their level of education and expertise). Our Cerologists are:

1. Responsible for implementation of customer service standards for all internal and external clients. Goal is to exceed client expectations from initial inquiry to on-going client relationship management.
2. Responsible for maintaining a clean and professional environment.
3. Accountable for efficient, effective and high-quality service provision following all defined waxing service standards.
4. Support and protect our culture.
5. Other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.
6. Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above functions.

Our Cerologists have advancement opportunities and career growth paths, plus high income potential through hourly wage + commission + tips.

Role Scope and Complexity
The technician reports directly to studio manager/studio lead and indirectly to all members of ownership and is accountable for adhering to all service provisions and sanitation standards. They are accountable for meeting established service protocols and customer service standards focusing on both internal & external customers. Also accountable for informing and educating clients on our service offerings, retail products and membership program, building and retaining clients, community engagement & other marketing efforts put forth by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required: Virginia State Licensure (Esthetician or Cosmetologist)
• A passion for waxing and the beauty industry
• Comfortable performing all waxing services we provide
• Time Management Skills
• Ability to use the Studio's iPads & Computer
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Flexible and adaptable individual who embraces being a part of a team
• Exceptional Customer Service
