Faro Arm Operator

Summary
The Faro Arm Operator is responsible for checking incoming parts for accuracy to drawing.

Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years programming experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience programming CMM’s.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Faro Arm to verify various products are in dimensional accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Trouble shoot Faro Arm programs and recommend improvements to inspection methods.
- Conduct regular maintenance on Faro Arm and inspection equipment, (calibration control is a plus).
- Collect and organize data using machine controller, desktop computer with Faro Arm and SolidWorks software (3D Experience software is a plus, but not required).
- Understand programming and geometrical, dimensions, and tolerances (GD&T).
- Uses calipers, micrometers, and other precision devices as required.

- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.

- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
