Stone Fabricator - Allied Stone

Position: Stone Fabricator Location: Lubbock,TX

Responsibilities:

• Shape and polish granite or marble using tools such as angle grinders and CNC machines.

• Execute precise measurements and calculations to ensure accurate cutting and shaping of stone materials.

• Collaborate with the team to achieve custom designs according to project specifications.

• Apply expert finishing techniques, such as polishing and grinding, to enhance the visual appeal and durability of stone products.

• Inspect and refine surfaces to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

• Work closely with design teams, project managers, and fellow fabricators to ensure seamless coordination and project execution.

Job Competencies:

• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.

• Aptitude for understanding the nuances of different stone materials.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

• Previous experience as a Stone Fabricator or similar role.

• Proficiency in operating stone cutting and shaping machinery, including angle grinders and CNC machines.

• Knowledge of different types of stone materials and their properties.

• Strong attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.

• Excellent comprehension and analytical abilities.
