Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Yard Attendant to join its team at US Shoring & Equipment in Euless, TX. In this role, you will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure daily smooth RMS branch operations. As a Yard Attendant, your primary responsibilities will be to provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel engaged in meeting the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect equipment prior to and after rentals to document hours used, mileage, fuel level and any lost and/ or damages to equipment.
• Process rental equipment for safety decals, safety compliance, preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is Rent Ready.
• Demonstrate equipment for customers if needed.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading equipment.
• Complete deliveries & pickup of equipment utilizing a company truck
• Provide superior customer service.
• Maintain company safety standards, which includes a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain close communications with the Inside Sales/Rental Coordinators
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with customers
• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience operating construction equipment a plus
• Able to lift 75lb’s
• Experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Diligent attention to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
• A strong work ethic, reliability and a positive attitude will make you an asset to our branch and entire organization.
