Job Summary:

We are looking for a Registered Yoga Teacher to lead yoga therapy twice per week at our Thousand Oaks residential facilities. This position is a 1099 independent contractor. The ideal candidate will hold an active RYT, and are qualified to practice and teach yoga in the state of California. This person will maintain appropriate, therapeutic boundaries with clients and families at all times, and will provide a positive environment for compassionate care.

Major Responsibilities:

• Upholds and maintains the vision, mission, and company values (i.e., Lightfully's Shining Commitments).
• Supports site-level teams in delivery of yoga instruction.

Specific Skills/Competencies:

• Demonstrates an understanding of the breadth of yoga practices and their application. The includes the ability to provide effective yoga therapy for clients, including intake and assessment, design and instruction of practice, and providing ongoing support.
• Demonstrates an understanding of yoga teachings, yoga philosophy, and their application to yoga therapy, including the condition and functioning of the mind and the understanding of health and disease.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills related to therapeutic skill and client education at the individual consultation or group level.
• Communicates effectively with clients, staff and leaders.
• Collaborates effectively with client's treatment team.
• Demonstrates understanding of HIPAA, and upholds client rights and confidentiality.

General Skills and Requirements:

• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• RYT.

The pay for this position is $110-120 per hour.
