Our extensive experience in cattle feedlot and production facility design spans much of the U.S. SASE is looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Civil Engineering Designer will support and serve agricultural clients as well as internal SASE engineering and construction needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop civil design plans and documents for preliminary evaluation
  • Develop civil design plans and documents for construction
  • Ensure completeness of the design
  • Develop and review construction quantities
  • Join in on team discussions and meetings relating to projects

Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years experience working in engineering or construction design
  • 4+ years of CAD experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Critical thinking and problem solving

Responsibilities
The Civil Engineering Designer will be responsible for creating detailed schematics and drafts using CAD software. They will utilize premium skills such as Sketchup, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD to design manufacturing facilities with a focus on system design. Additionally, the designer will incorporate relevant skills in construction and graphic design to ensure innovative and functional structures. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design, focusing on manufacturing facilities
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating schematics and drafting
- Advanced skills in Sketchup, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of system design, construction practices, and graphic design
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools like Revit, 3ds Max, and Rhinoceros 3D
