All departments are responsible for preparing and fulfilling orders as necessary, helping in all areas of the department, maintaining a clean and functioning work area, and communicating diligently with coworkers and management.

Position: Picker

A Picker is responsible for accurately picking items from inventory for order batches before sending them to production to be completed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a tablet to access internal inventory platform and log items picked
  • Count items accurately and place them in the correct batches based on due date and production department
  • Utilize an internal inventory system to monitor production request for additional products to be delivered to departments
  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of available inventory
  • Assist other departments as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to utilize a handheld tablet
  • Basic computer skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a production and/or warehouse environment preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of working on feet and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions and operate computers
