Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMBS is hiring a Project Engineer - Mechanical for a GREAT customer of ours in Groveport, OH. This company has lots of advancement opportunity. This is a direct hire opportunity. FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Heavy machinery design and application of engineering practices that incorporate both electric and hydraulic drives.
  • Generate detailed drawings for manufacturing.
  • Project management.
  • Interaction with production and engineering personnel to design utilizing best practices.
REQUIREMENTS
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 3 – 7 years of engineering experience required.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
  • FEA and simulation experience preferred.
  • Understanding of weldments and machining tolerances.
  • Experience in manufacturing/machine design.
  • Industrial hydraulics experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of engineering design concepts, and material properties.
  • Ability to use clear, concise, and grammatically correct verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to receive and retain instructions in a productive manner; ability to prioritize, keep multiple projects and tasks on schedule.
  • Ability to solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
