Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a Tool and Die Repair/Tool Maker on 1st shift.

Pay: Starting at $25 hr., based on experience

Summary of Position:

Repairs existing dies and develops, cuts, shapes or forms metal work pieces to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make necessary adjustments to tooling; ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair tooling that is not performing to standards.
  • Works on all conventional machine tools except CNC-Equipment & Computer. (Unless otherwise authorized and assigned this responsibility.)
  • Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools, using machine tools and hand tools.
  • Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects.
  • Responsible for following all safety procedures / regulations and keeping immediate work area clean.
  • Additional projects may be assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Education/Experience:

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be familiar with precision measuring tools and have the ability to read blueprints.
