Title: Ultrasound Technician - Travel

About the Role:

As a Travel Ultrasound Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient patient care by performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in various healthcare facilities nationwide. You will utilize your skills to create clear images of internal organs and tissues, assisting physicians in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. We offer flexible contracts to suit your travel preferences and career goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations across diverse clinical settings, including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and other specialty exams as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and communication of results.
  • Adapt to different work environments and demonstrate strong clinical judgment.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment during all examinations.
  • Document patient history and examination results in the electronic medical record (EMR) efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain a valid RDMS credential and adhere to all professional standards.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential, current and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and pathology.
  • Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to travel to different locations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills and electronic documentation.
  • Commitment to patient safety and maintaining a high standard of care.
