Hybrid Role, candidates must work on-site in Denver CO.

Our industry-leading communications client is seeking a Wireless Engineer. The wireless engineer will be performing planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for wireless network systems of high complexity. as well as designs, develops and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement. They will be responsible for implementation of wireless network architecture and designs.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participates in wireless network planning, wireless network architecture design and engineering.
  • Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete wireless network configurations.
  • Evaluates new products, performs wireless network problem resolution.
  • Develops and implements approved methods of procedure.
  • Designs, develops and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient data wireless networking knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, etc.).
  • Proficient knowledge of related wireless industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants, Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocols.
  • Proficient knowledge in wireless network design, wireless network architecture, protocols and wireless network topology.
  • Proficient knowledge of basic wireless network devices and basic wireless network appliances.
  • Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Education- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Related Work Experience 5+ Wireless network experience. Education- Cisco Certified Wireless network Professional (CCNP ), Wireless industry and vendor specific training (Cisco, Ariss, Ruckus, etc.).
  • 10 + plus applicable Specialized Skills years of experience.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
