Afternoon Floater

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Goddard School in Fuquay-Varina is seeking an afternoon floater to assist with the daily afternoon functions in our preschool. An afternoon floater comes in and takes over wherever is needed that day- providing proper supervision, assisting in classrooms, playing with children (ages 6 weeks-6 years), ensuring the health and safety of all children, and helping clean the classrooms/building at the end of the day. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-6:30pm.

*You must be 18 & have graduated high school to be considered for this position.*

We are a five star preschool, and require a "Qualifying Letter" (the NCDHHS/DCDEE approved background check), a completed physical and a TB screening/test.

All faculty are required by the state to obtain infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid w/AED module within their first 90 days, and all floaters must obtain a SIDS certificate in their first 60 days to help in the infant rooms. There are other state mandated trainings that all faculty must take within the first 90 days, or first year. Additionally, NC requires annual in-service training hours to be taken each year. We pay for trainings.
