Objectives of the role:

  • Work with project teams to analyze current systems and processes and design a strategy for the adoption of agile best practices,
  • Guide teams to help them stay on track with agile techniques, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure the overall strategy is being met,
  • Lead agile workshops for both development and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders,
  • Promote and advocate a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals and milestones and being accountable for them, and
  • Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset and ensure the organization is at the forefront of industry best practices.


Expected duties for the successful candidate:

  • Teaching teams Agile practices that enable them in achieving short cycle time and improve product quality.
  • Mentor teams on Agile techniques like estimation, planning, story mapping.
  • Coach and mentor scrum masters.
  • Enabling high performance at the team level.
  • Improve the predictability of solution delivery.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve delivery impediments.
  • Facilitate open dialog sessions to enable agility.
  • Access and measure the maturity of an Agile team regularly using client methodologies.
  • Setting up governing policies to support Agile-based approaches.
  • Facilitating multi-team events like Scrum of Scrum, Retrospectives.
  • Facilitating change in new ways of working.
  • Apply system thinking to surface the bottlenecks and dysfunctions.
  • Suggesting organizations' policies to support Agile ways of working.
  • Develop a partnership with Leaders to accelerate the transformation journey.



The successful candidate will have:

  • An Associate's Degree or higher in an IT or Analyst related field
  • 5-7 years of agile scrum experience
  • 3+ years of coaching experience in an agile or scaled agile organization
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)
  • Experience running agile projects/teams of varying size and complexity
  • Extensive analytical skills, including data/metrics, trends, decision making, organizational strategy, and research
  • The ability to interpret and communicate process and practice improvement activities
  • The ability to solve problems creatively and effectively handle multiple projects or initiatives
  • The ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus within agile teams and across an organization
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills including persuading, influencing, negotiating, and resolving disputes with a wide variety of stakeholders internal and external to the client organization
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • U.S. Citizen


Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Coach certification
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Experience coaching at large organizations or Fortune 500 companies
  • Computer Science or Information Systems background
