Our programs collect and recycle almost any waste stream, including beauty packaging, disposable face masks, babies' nappies, cigarette butts and chewing gum, which we then turn into new products - like the world's first shampoo bottle made from beach plastic, for example.


As a social enterprise, we drive positive change by partnering with some of the world’s largest corporations such as L'Oréal, P&G and Colgate to transform the collected packaging into new products like outdoor furniture, playgrounds and park benches.


Job Overview

This is an administrative and operational role with the opportunity to add value by tracking and reporting on materials as they move through our supply chain, whilst managing vendors and work on improvement and efficiencies projects.


Primary Responsibilities

LOGISTIC AND DATA MANAGEMENT

  • Data collection, maintenance, and analysis across the end to end (E2E) supply chain
  • Tracking and reporting on inbound waste collected through various collection channels from our individual collectors, community collection hubs, businesses, and/or Zero Waste Box (ZWB) solutions.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring tracked figures align with reported numbers from our third party (3PTY) warehouse and logistics partners.
  • Maintaining data accuracy across our tracking platforms by ensuring timely entry of new data to the relevant system
  • Supporting with investigations to reconcile inventory values where volume discrepancies arise, including liaison with 3PTY teams
  • Tracking movement of all outbound materials to be recycled which may include movement between warehouses, to recycling processors or to product manufacturers.

ADMIN AND REPORTING

  • Manage End of Month (EOM) reconciliations and reporting (accruals)
  • Manage operations invoices, providing accurate data as needed to initiate invoice raising and reconciliation.
  • Manage brands custom reporting dashboards

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

  • Manage compliance controls internally (Critical Process Reviews, SOP...) and for our vendors (Certificate of recycling, licenses, contracts…)
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to support daily business operations

VENDOR MANAGEMENT

  • Manage Zero Waste Box (ZWB) supply chain including management of vendors (box manufacturer, fulfilment agency, couriers)
  • Booking and coordinating logistics and freight pick-ups and deliveries, with 3PTY providers
Requirements:

Desired Qualifications

  • Qualification in business, operations, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative roles or in operations activities and vendor management (+2 years)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Strong aptitude for communications and a good understanding of business relations
  • Proficient in Excel and managing database
  • A demonstrated interest in recycling, sustainability, and purpose-led business
  • High energy, positive and fun team player who can collaborate cross-functionally
