Behavior Technician

This position is responsible for implementing treatment plans and programming directives from the Team Supervisor by providing one on one and group therapy to children with Autism. Our clients need consistency and diligence from their technicians. We are currently seeing clients in their homes, but we are diligently looking for a clinic location as well. We require technicians to have completed a 40 hour training before coming onboard and then we will teach the hands on skills needed to become a behavior technician. $20 - $25 hourly

• Provide 1:1 applied behavior analysis in home, center, and community-based environments by implementing individualized treatment plans (ISPs) developed by BCBAs
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals (write session notes and meet with your supervisor regularly to discuss progress).

• Must have excellent communication Skills
• Must complete 40 hour technician training with certificate
• Must have reliable transportation to get to client homes or the clinic
• Must take data on an ipad/tablet and complete computer generated session notes

A Better Day ABA is a small family oriented business. We began offering Applied Behavior Analysis services in 2022 and doubled in size in 2023. This year we intend to grow even more by opening a clinic in the Williamsburg area. We will still continue to provide our in-home services for clients with less extensive treatment plans. Some of our technicians may stay in-home only while others may decide to do both. We offer PT, from 4 to 28 hours of face-to-face service time (28 hours is considered full time in this business since time is needed for supervision and travel).
