You'll love the day-to-day care of patients and boarders including feeding, watering, cleaning, walking, bathing, and monitoring the well-being of pets.
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
  •  Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising 
  •  Clean and maintain kennel areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for the animals 
  •  Assist with tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming -
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff 
  •  Administer medications and treatments as directed 
  • Possibly assist with animal handling during examinations and procedures 
  •  Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment 

What You'll Bring:
  •  Previous experience working with animals is preferred 
  •  Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques 
  •  Familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus  
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with animal care 
  •  Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
