We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Millwright to join our team.  If you’re a team player who is looking for a sense of accomplishment, the opportunity to grow, and a place to call home, then Lovegreen is the place for you

As a Lovegreen millwright, you will be required to join the Local 548 union and be able to receive all the benefits a union provides  Through the apprenticeship program, you’ll learn everything you need to know about being a skilled millwright.

 

What You’ll Do


  • Install, align, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance of machinery
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
  • Follow all safety policies to maintain a safe working environment
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and schematics
  • Utilize hand and power tools and precision measuring equipment


Who You Are

 

  • 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and able to troubleshoot
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good work ethic
  • Flexibility to work in various environments and conditions
  • Commitment to safety and high-quality craftsmanship

Lovegreen millwrights are part of the 548 Millwright and Erectors union.  All new millwrights go through a 4-year apprenticeship program to learn the skills they need to be a successful millwright – all while getting paid

 

Position Requirements

 

  • Able to work a varied schedule and hours
  • Able to stand, crawl, kneel for various hours throughout the day
  • Work in varied conditions and environments
  • Able to wear PPE – steel toe boots, safety glasses, hardhat, and hearing protection
  • Able to pass drug screen and background check
