The Electrical Technician is the functional expert responsible for the electrical components that involve the generation, transmission, distribution, and utilization of electric power, along with the electrical equipment associated with these systems.

Responsibilities for Electrical Technician
- Evaluates the high voltage electrical system, product, components, and applications Helps to design high voltage programs by applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Communicates design changes and proposes changes to management.
- Confirms systems and components capabilities by designing testing methods Check finished product to ensure quality and that industry standards are met before they are declared complete.
- Research and tests manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment.
- Testing finished product and system capabilities.
- Provides programming, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of EV elements.
- Maintains product database to document work results.
- Reads and understands prints and electric schematics.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications for Electrical Technician
- 5+ years' manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is a plus (but not necessary)
- Previous experience working in a specialty vehicle manufacturer or EV experience.
- Analytical thinking with problem solving aptitude, methodical and rational.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills for Electrical Technician
- Previous experience in a start-up environment a plus
- Trouble shooting/testing and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Hi-Potential Testing
- Paying high attention to quality and safety
- Positive team attitude
- Teaching skills to educate production workers.
- PLC knowledge is a plus.
