The receptionist at Cornerstone Building Brands (CBB) ensures our company provides a welcoming environment for both visitors and all team members in our office environment.  The role will greet and assist all clients, visitors and other guests of the organization.  They will answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff; take messages and schedule appointments for various members of our staff.  On top of their visitor responsibilities, the Receptionist oversees our office environment to ensure coffee bars, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms are properly maintained.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create employee and visitor access badges and maintain up-to-date badge database
  • Manage stock of office, kitchen, and bathroom supplies; restock supplies as needed
  • Assist with coordination of lunch orders for office personnel and visitors
  • Manage all conference room calendars to ensure meeting spaces are ready and available
  • Handle building maintenance requests and building vendors
  • Responsible for incoming/outgoing mail
  • Assist with general clerical duties (photocopying, filing, etc.)
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in an office environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office software packages (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
