Job Title: Certified Medication Aide

Shift: Full-time (36 hrs./week)
Salary: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Responsibilities:- Assist licensed nurses (RN or LPN/LVN) in providing safe and ethical care to clients.
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, following state regulations and facility policies.
- Document medication administration and any observed reactions or changes in patient condition.
- Perform delegated nursing tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medication carts and patient care areas.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and report any concerns or issues promptly.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Connecticut.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide preferred.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of medication administration practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
