The Service Advisor will also ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and communicate updates to customers to ensure their satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments for customers
- Assess customer needs and provide detailed cost estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Recommend necessary repairs and maintenance based on vehicle inspections
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle and any additional repairs
- Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of work
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Prior experience working in an automotive service advisor role or similar customer service role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly assess customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer software applications, including service scheduling systems
