Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary:
  • Assembles and tests electronic hand tools and electronic hand tool sub-assemblies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Use simple hand/power tools along with simple/complex jigs and fixtures.
  • Perform assembly and test procedures of various electrical and mechanical products following detailed written/visual procedures while applying established workmanship standards.
  • Work from written instructions that provide detailed methods and sequence of assembly operations using a bill of materials and assembly drawings.
  • Must follow clean-room procedures when working with optical style tools.
  • Maintain equipment and area in orderly and safe condition.
  • Must follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Qualifications:
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus, with the highest standards for quality.
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to use a microscope for inspecting, and sometimes assembling parts.
  • Ability to work with and communicate with other individuals.
  • Ability to hand-solder small to miniature components on occasion.
  • Hours: Monday through Friday 6AM to 2:30PM.
  • Overtime will be necessary at times, depending on the workload.
Education Requirements:
  • Minimum - High School Diploma or GED
