Main functions:
We're looking for a Data Entry Assistant to enter all data relating to garments developed using our custom software. An ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, has quick typing skills and is a self-starter who is excited to work in a rapidly evolving office.
Reports to: Design Manager
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and compiling information on multiple operating systems
- Combines data from different departments on one chart to make sure all information is accounted for and complete.
- Verifying accuracy and sorting information for computer entry
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors
- Correcting any incompatibilities & Purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Working with the design team to gather all necessary data in a timely manner.
- Secures information by completing data base backups.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
- Filing for copyrights for development prints and purchased artworks.
Requirements
- Must have 0-3 years of data entry experience
- Fashion background would be great, but not required.
- Strong problem-solving and execution skills. Operationally-minded.
- Detailed oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
- Comfortable entering and retrieving data from multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed
- Strong follow up skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to write concise messages and communicate clearly.
- Good working knowledge of Excel
The salary for this non-exempt role is $50k.
