CMS Surveillance Technician

We are currently hiring immediately for a full-time Central Monitoring Station Surveillance Technicians for both night shift and day shift; Full Time and Part Time/Full Time Hybrid.

Schedule is flexible but set and can also include: 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts

As a Surveillance Technician, you will work with various types of communication and electronic data processing programs and with a team of other Surveillance Technicians to ensure that company procedures, policies, and expectations are upheld. You will call for emergency/police dispatch to our client’s properties to ensure the protection of their assets and property, as well as track departmental data and prepare/maintain respective reports as necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying suspicious activity from live video streams or electronic messages from fixed surveillance units across the country and dispatch police as necessary
• Communicate and support field activities with onsite Security Guards, Field Technicians, and other company employees.
• Initiate incident investigation and work closely with law enforcement to prosecute criminal activity
• Communicate with Shift Leads and on-site Managers.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area
• Complete shift paperwork
• Any additional responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead and/or Central Monitoring Station Management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for 8 or more hours at a time
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to Layton office
• Must have no criminal history
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $11.75- $12.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Layton, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required), except for (1) hybrid position.

Experience:

• Surveillance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
