Job Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 3:30pm (OT on Saturday's)


A2Z Staffing, LLC is currently hiring qualified candidates to manufacture stainless steel duct systems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under close supervision you'll be introduced to a series of duties and responsibilities with increasing complexity to include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Set up work area, select and verify the materials for production, and meet daily production and quality demands in such specific areas as: grinding, rolling, seam welding, flanging, tagging; shearing.
  • Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fasten thin pieces of sheet metal to specifications using tools and machines.
  • Use hand tools, electronic and manual equipment, and machinery to construct sheet metal into finished products.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures safely and correctly.
Requirements:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year of experience with fabricating rectangular or round ducts
  • Knowledge of sheet metal layout (proper fittings), surface grinding and metallurgy
  • Willingness to learn the more complex aspects of the equipment operation involved within the round area and shear area.
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, technical documents (cut sheets), safety policies, company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to apply basic math skills including adding and subtracting whole numbers and fractions.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Welding and grinding
  • Must be dependable, good attendance and be on time.
  • Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
  • Must pass a background check

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously
  • Must have the ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull.
  • Must be able to stand, bend and walk for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Must be able to wear steel toe boots
  • Must be able to work in a loud environment
