Requirements:
• Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
• New Mexico State Board license
• New Mexico Public Education Department license

Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations to determine if children have occupational therapy needs and ascertain appropriate services.
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.) meetings for potential and current cases.
• Create written implementation plans for I.E.P. goals in collaboration with other professionals.
• Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and other relevant individuals regarding assigned cases.
• Regularly assess and report on the progress of students in the caseload.
• Maintain and update instructional materials in collaboration with special education teachers.
• Supervise the assigned COTA
• Submit necessary reports on a weekly basis
• Any other duties as assigned.
