In order to fulfill the job functions listed below an individual must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Communicate effectively in person, on the telephone, and in writing.

Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
Immediately report unacceptable or outdated food products to supervisor.
Immediately report suspected equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
Attend required in-services and meetings.
Other duties as may be assigned.

Successful completion of the Dining Assistant Program.
Successful demonstration of transporting residents in a wheel chair.
Comply with all federal and state regulations.
Comply with all Facility policies and procedures.
Comply with all policies and procedures as may be established by your supervisor.
Comply with all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
Respect resident rights.
Present a friendly, calm, cooperative, positive manner.

On occasion may need to lift up to 40 lbs.
Prompt and regular attendance.
Complete all job assignments in a timely manner.
Assist residents during meals to include transporting to dining room and/or dayrooms, preparation, serving
and assisting to dine and removing soiled articles.
Clean dining and day room tables.
Documenting meal and fluid acceptance in EMR
Provide residents with fresh water according to fluid consistency.
