Your Mission:

  • Serve as a system architect to plan, capture, and manage requirements, analyze, design, test, and document systems of moderate complexity.
  • Lead system integration efforts and recommend new tools and techniques to achieve continuous improvement in systems development processes.
  • Act as a mentor to engineers, providing domain knowledge and sharing lessons learned to enhance team capabilities.
  • Lead preparation of proposals and presentations, estimating, tracking, and reporting project costs and schedules while managing scope & risk.
  • Provide input to technical and product roadmaps and potentially lead cross-functional/domain teams in a Project Engineering role.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical Systems Discipline or a High School degree with 8 years of experience in a technical discipline.
  • Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems.
  • Strong domain knowledge of department products and systems, with the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), capable of speaking clearly and comfortably in both planned and impromptu situations.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for building long-term relationships and delivering superior customer experiences.
  • Dependability, judgment, and the ability to foster teamwork across functions.
  • Ability to make quick, well-informed decisions under pressure, with a strong focus on achieving quality results.
