Come Join Our Team at Swift Recon

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Shop Manager to lead our mechanical shop. Our Mechanical Shop Manager manages day-to-day operations and develops team members to reach their full potential. This position requires a high level of multitasking, internal customer service, great communication, and results in leadership, financials, and operations.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures for the workshop operation
  • Identify, create, and develop a long-term global strategy for each sourcing category
  • Manage the day-to-day workshop team & operations to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Workshop budget management and operational reporting
  • In conjunction with the Sales department manage all processes from PDI to de-fleeting of the internal fleet vehicles

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Five years of experience preferred
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Position Requirements

  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivation, and training
  • Great at multitasking
  • Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed
  • Ability to set and monitor a budget
  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

**Pay is determined by experience and qualifications
