Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're actively seeking candidates for a pivotal role focused on managing brand expectations and ensuring quality standards within our organization. This position requires providing support, guidance, leadership, and expertise to support functions such as AQT, MFG, ENG, Purchasing, and Project Management, as well as to our suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all Quality Management System standards and deliverables.
  • Develop a robust Quality Requirement (QR) by leveraging global compliance standards and documenting all applicable requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize design and processes, including DFMEA and PFMEA completion.
  • Validate that product design and manufacturing processes meet QR requirements.
  • Conduct on-site Supplier Quality Audits (SQA) and oversee compliance with Global Supplier Manual (GSM) standards.
  • Prioritize and manage quality issues, providing timely updates as requested.
  • Analyze customer, supplier, and internal data to identify trends and initiate corrective actions.
  • Drive effective corrective actions through processes like 5-Why, CAPA, and/or 8D methodologies.
  • Provide relevant metrics throughout the product life cycle and business phases.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality management.
  • Preferred experience with juvenile products.

Required Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to meet key milestones.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly injection molding and plastics.
  • Familiarity with Quality Disciplines such as ISO 9000, FMEAs, Control Plans, and Corrective Actions.
