Installed Sales Manager

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Installed Sales Manager to lead the development of our installed sales division in providing turnkey solutions to construction contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction materials and processes, excellent leaderships skills, and a passion for delivering industry leading customer experiences. As the Installed Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and overseeing the entire process of selling turnkey solutions, i.e. windows/doors, kitchen/bath, etc., to contractors. You will be responsible for building and managing the division, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability growth in partnership with our corporate sales team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and manage a team of subcontractors, service techs, and other installed sales professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
    • Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide developmental feedback.
  2. Project Coordination:
    • Oversee the end-to-end process of turnkey solutions, from project initiation to completion.
    • Prioritize product/service solutions to build internal expertise capable of generating sustainable value creation and profitability.
    • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Outline and establish quality standards that meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
    • Strive for customer satisfaction and repeat business through exceptional service.
  4. Sales Growth:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the installed sales division.
    • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
    • Execute sales forecasting methodologies that increase market share through providing transparency and accountability to installed sales department.
  5. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all installed solutions meet or exceed quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Set performance standards and hold solution providers accountable to develop industry leading solutions that generate competitive advantage and brand preference.
  • Implement and enforce safety and quality protocols on job sites.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Verify that all work is completed within code compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in a sales or management role within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
