What will you do as a Registered Dietitian
- you will be responsible for completing initial, quarterly, annual and significant change nutritional reviews on residents.
- Participate in care plan conferences and other clinical meetings to consult with physicians and other health care personnel to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.
- You'll also be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed.
- As required, you keep accurate records for each resident you work with and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing department immediately.
What you need as a Registered Dietitian
- Previous experience in a long term care facility required
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field
- Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist in the state
