As our social media specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company's social media strategy as well as being the digital voice for all of our brands. You will be tasked with enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and fostering a strong online community. We have multiple platforms that are under one company that are primarily focused on the entertainment/tourism industries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing goals
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure the brand remains innovative and competitive
- Create engaging and shareable content across all social media platforms
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually appealing and on-brand content
- Manage the content calendar and ensure timely and consistent postings
- Foster an engaged and active online community by engaging with followers and responding to comments and messages
- Monitor social media channels for trends and conversations relevant to the brand
- Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns
- Provide regular reports and insights to assess the effectiveness of strategies and recommend optimizations
- Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and collaborations to enhance brand visibility
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives
- Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility
- Develop partnerships and collaborations that align with the brand's values and objectives
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Experience with social media ad platforms & analytics tools
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment
