Position Overview:
Are you someone who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? Sheba Foods is seeking a reliable and energetic Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for moving and organizing materials within the warehouse, ensuring that our inventory is accurately stored and readily accessible. If you have a keen sense of organization and take pride in your work, this position is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Movement: Efficiently move materials and products throughout the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing items as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of inventory levels by tracking and updating inventory systems regularly. Assist with periodic inventory audits.
  • Order Preparation: Collaborate with the team to prepare materials for shipment, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and packed.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect materials and products for any damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly to maintain the integrity of our inventory.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and organize materials.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment by properly storing materials and keeping aisles clear.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure work environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
