The Compliance Manager at Diamond Braces plays a crucial role in leading the day-to-day operations of our compliance program across multi-state orthodontic practices. With direct engagement with the compliance committee and clinical staff, this position influences patient care standards and drives educational initiatives within a compliance-focused framework.

Responsibilities include owning the development of compliance initiatives, conducting investigations, and facilitating compliance reporting, all aimed at developing a culture of adherence to ensure the success of our compliance program.

Essential Functions
  • Lead the day-to-day compliance operations, including implementing and monitoring compliance programs across multiple orthodontic practices
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to review and update corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-kickback statutes, and Medicaid reimbursement requirements
  • Develop and implement compliance plans to address potential crises and perform internal audits to assess compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee internal and third-party billing service audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including Fraud, Waste, and Abuse guidelines
  • Create and deliver compliance training programs for employees to ensure understanding of their responsibilities related to ethics, laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Manage the compliance hotline process, including investigation, reporting, follow-up, and implementation of corrective actions
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and recommend necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Partner closely with the Safety Manager to ensure comprehensive adherence to Health & Safety protocols and Regulatory Compliance Guidelines, developing a deeper understanding of current company programs
