Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Goddard School of Newtown Square is seeking qualified and experienced Lead PreKindergarten Teachers. The Goddard School is a premium preschool / childcare program that values teachers with the highest levels of professionalism and dedication to the field of early childhood education and those who instill a life-long love of learning among children.

Responsibilities:


  • Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
  • Using creativity and the Developmental Guidelines as the basis for developing unique lesson plans
  • Supporting each childs social and emotional development
  • Establishing positive and effective family relations
  • Working together with an Assistant Teacher and in conjunction with the entire faculty
Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Child Development
  • Bachelors Degree in related field with a minimum of 18 hours in education
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
