Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary:

Total Security Solutions is looking for a qualified individual to join the bulletproof glass manufacturing team as a warehouse general laborer. This is a part-time position with hours that will flex from week-to-week in our Placentia, CA warehouse and will average less than 30 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Load trucks with material and equipment for installation crew.
  • Deliver material and equipment to local job sites.
  • Unload/receive material and place appropriately in the warehouse.
  • Track warehouse inventory.
  • Maintain a clean/organized warehouse.
  • General vehicle maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flexibility in schedule is a must 
  • Minimum 2+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Hi-lo experience required
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Mindset of continuous improvement
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities

Physical Requirements:

  • Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to lift  a minimum of 50lbs
  • Operate a computer and other office/shop machinery or equipment.

Work Environment:

  • This job takes place in a manufacturing floor/office environment and routinely uses specialized shop and standard office equipment. Employees are required to wear safety glasses and safety shoes with ear protection recommended at all times in production areas.
