Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPennant Solutions Group is in search of a Sr General Superintendent in the Richmond, VA area. The best applicant would have previous experience in running multi-million-dollar projects.As a Senior General Superintendent, support superintendents on all projects by instructing and mentoring them.
Duties:Ensures job quality and customer satisfaction are maintained at every project step by giving teams leadership and direction in budgeting and scheduling.
Good interpersonal skills to foster a favorable work atmosphere with clients, consumers, and vendors.
Apart from overseeing, accountable for executing an extensive array of proficient building duties firsthand.
As the lead superintendent, oversees field superintendents and oversees major projects.
carries out a variety of expert construction projects.
Serves as a point of contact for the engineering, estimating, and project teams to guarantee that schedules, requirements, and drawings are followed.Works in tandem with other departments (such as Quality Control and Engineering) to guarantee that the necessary supplies and machinery are available, conducts inspections, and supports craft activities.
Solves a range of construction-related difficulties, such as productivity tracking and craft compliance with the project safety program's standards; recording and carrying out remedial action; and carrying out additional tasks as delegated

Essential:
At least seven years of prior experience working as a general superintendent or foreman, or an equivalent combination of relevant occupational training and experience ; Capacity to effectively manage a big staff (20+)
A thorough understanding of construction cost control, forecasting, and goal-setting. Prior experience with man-hour reports, job cost reports, manpower planning, and estimating.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities, as well as a track record of working across a variety of disciplinesCapacity to communicate information to clients, customers, and coworkers in an efficient manner
Proficiency in OSHA 30 and CPR ; Exhibited understanding, interpretation, and application of:Isometric and orthographic design drawings, design guidelines, and specifications
Supporting drawings and details
Contract documents, subcontractor site coordination, multitasking, working with little supervision, following written and verbal instructions, paying attention to detail, and demonstrating problem-solving abilities are all required. Additionally, passing a post-offer pre-employment drug test and satisfactorily completing any further background checks (such as DMV and criminal history) may be necessary. Finally, adhering to all company policies and procedures is mandatory.Must be able to report as allocated to various job sitesThe physical requirements and work environment would be indicative of what an employee would need to meet in order to properly carry out the essential duties of this position.
