Job DescriptionJob Description

General Summary: The van driver is responsible for the safe, punctual, and timely transportation of youth to and from summer activities.

  • Drive youth to and from scheduled activities in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all Completely KIDS vehicles are sound and suitable for use (gas-filled, exterior lights functioning, any vehicle warnings addressed).
  • Communicate effectively with all program coordinators to ensure all logistics of travel are completed correctly.
  • Assist with Makerspace trailer transportation as needed.
  • Adhere to all city and county driving laws.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

*Reliable attendance is an ongoing essential job function.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least 25 years of age or older with experience driving 15-passenger vans.
  • Valid Nebraska driver’s license.
  • No history of traffic offenses.
  • Must be approved for Title XX licensure via provided training.

Required of all positions:

  • Knowledge of Completely KIDS mission, values, vision, and ethical standards.


Work Experience:

  • Experience driving 15-passenger vans.


Education Level:

  • High School Diploma


Licensure, Certifications, and Other Designations

  • Licensure will be provided via training for Title XX


Physical Requirements:

  • Seeing: Must be able to read reports and use a computer. 25-49%
  • Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with others. 50-74%
  • Standing/Walking: 50-74%
  • Climbing/Stoop/Kneeling: 50-74%
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 50-74%
  • Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type, and use the phone system. 50-74%

Work Conditions:

  • One split shift Monday-Friday (mornings: 8:00-11 am and afternoons: 12:30-4:30 pm)
