We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Manager to join our team. The Business Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of our office and will be responsible for working with other department heads in the following departments. Production, Administrative, HR and safety.

This person should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, as well as understanding day-to-day business needs and budget conscious.

The role is focused on best-in-class customer service for our clients and vendor partners. The Business Manager will work with Department Heads to assist in maintaining our 5-star customer service Google and Yelp ranking.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates and drives a sense of urgency in execution of business plans while embracing transparency, empowerment, and accountability throughout the organization.
  • Oversee Administrative functions of the company while running monthly reports for actuals vs budgets, working with VP to distribute to Executive Team.
  • Work with Admin Team, to ensure processes are running smoothly in their departments
  • Budgeting/Forecasting
  • Handle some expenses and reporting.
  • Rotational after hours on-call responsibility/facility oversight with warehouse supervisor
  • Perform data entry/management for information management systems including inputting new jobs, contacts, meeting notes, follow-up actions and reports; may create and maintain database information and spreadsheet files.
  • Oversee company data integrity
  • Oversee security and alarm systems in conjunction with warehouse supervisor
  • Up to date OSHA & Safety of facilities/team with warehouse supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience office management.
  • 3-5 years of experience performing Payroll and HR functions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Excel experience a must
  • Understanding of employment laws and compliance
  • Highly effective communicator, written and verbal, with a track record of establishing respectful relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to execute in a hands-on fashion to meet consistent timelines and provide visibility into financial performance.
  • Dynamic personality, energy, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
