Job Summary: As a Representative II for Medical Support,
at DISA Global Solutions, you will play a fundamental role in supporting the medical team by performing essential tasks vital to the efficient operation of medical support services. Your responsibilities will include assisting with client interactions, organizing documentation, and contributing to the seamless delivery of medical support services.
Essential Functions:
1. Client Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing information related to medical support services.
2. Documentation Management: Accurately maintain and organize medical records, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory requirements.
3. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule medical appointments, screenings, and tests for individuals as required by client specifications.
4. Data Entry: Input and update relevant information into the system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of medical support activities.
5. Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including medical professionals and administrative staff, to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
6. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve routine issues or concerns related to medical support services promptly and professionally.
7. Compliance Adherence: Ensure that all medical support activities align with relevant regulations and company policies.
8. Reporting: Generate regular reports on medical support activities, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Essential Driving Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to drive, park and back up a 40+ foot trailer.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with yearly scheduling of maintenance, inspections and vehicle record keeping.
• Perform on-site medical testing including but not limited to vision screening, audiometric testing, vital signs, PFT testing, fit testing, and substance abuse testing.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical support or administrative role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in data entry and basic computer applications.
Travel %: 90%
Physical demands and Equipment Use:
• Ability to perform physical requirement of position:
o Frequently: - stand, sit, bend, walk, operate a computer
o Lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule: Hours vary.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate employer needs.
Early morning, late night, occasional weekend
